From 19 to 24 September 2022, Abidjan hosted a training session for finance directors from some 40 African cities and local authorities on access to capital markets. The training provided participants a better understanding of the capital markets ecosystem. Participants also learnt about the African Development Bank’s new guidelines for lending to cities and its financing instruments.
The UMDF is engaged in financing this training, to increase capacity on integrated urban development.
