Addis Ababa: “Beautifying Sheger River" Development strategy

This report describes the investment strategy and infrastructure plan of an ambitious project launched in 2019 by Ethiopian authorities, with the support of the UMDF. The project involves redeveloping 69 km of rivers in Addis Ababa, covering an area that is home to over 1.3 million residents.
Launched during the COP 27 in Charm-El-Sheikh in November 2022.
